A multicultural celebration meant to unite a Michigan elementary school erupted into controversy after children were offered political stickers, including one depicting an assault rifle and another containing an anti-Zionist obscenity. The mothers who organized the Palestinian heritage table say the stickers were accidentally included in a bulk online order. The school district called the material discriminatory and antisemitic, barred the women from volunteering for the remainder of the year and launched an investigation. Then the backlash escalated: one mother says her address was posted online, her employer was pressured to fire her and her 10-year-old child was confronted by older children.
