No matter how old you are opening a gift from a friend or family member is always fun. Add the holiday season into the mix and gift giving and gift opening is one of the best times of the year. There is laughter, joking, happy tears and smiles from ear to ear.
Sadly, not everyone can afford a boat-load of presents under there tree. The Richfield Police Department is doing what they can to bring the spirit of giving back to the community with its Heroes and Helpers program, which helps families in need to purchase gifts during the holiday season.
