🎃 It's a THRILLER night on the All-American Spookshow! 🧟♂️
This week, SPOOKTOBER continues as we're taking a break from full-length horror movies to sink our teeth into one of the most legendary music videos of all time—MICHAEL JACKSON'S THRILLER (1983)!
Directed by John Landis (AN AMERICAN WEREWOLF IN LONDON), featuring the unmistakable voice of horror legend Vincent Price and groundbreaking makeup effects by Rick Baker, THRILLER transformed a pop song into a 14-minute mini horror movie that changed music videos forever!
Josh, Tiana & “Professor” Brian Smoak dig up everything that makes this Halloween classic so unforgettable! We're talking about the iconic zombie choreography, the incredible practical effects, the werecat transformation, the creepy atmosphere, Vincent Price's legendary narration and the lasting impact THRILLER had on horror, music and pop culture.
We'll also discuss the behind-the-scenes history, our memories of seeing THRILLER for the first time, and whether this legendary short film still delivers the scares more than 40 years later!
Is MICHAEL JACKSON'S THRILLER the greatest music video ever made? And does it deserve a place alongside the best horror short films of all time?
So grab your red leather jacket, practice those zombie dance moves and remember…NO MERE MORTAL CAN RESIST THE EVIL OF THE THRILLER! 🧟♂️
