This week we have on Sheri Salata who had a 21 year career with Oprah as the executive producer of the Oprah Winfrey Show. She was also co-president of the OWN Network. Sheri has now moved on and is doing her own business along with one of her dear friends Nancy called the Pillar Life and is the co-host of the podcast Sheri and Nancy Show. Sheri talked about her journey and how it was filled with all the wrong steps, how she wasn't ready to settle and how she would start over and over until she got it right. She started at the Oprah show at 35 and how she worked her way up, she shares about everything she learned along the way. Sheri is really big on our stories, the stories we tell ourselves all the time are these things that shape our life. But when you call it a story, that means you're the author of it. We talked about what the transition was like to having a super successful career and how she took the leap to do her own thing. We talked about her favorite books, her favorite spiritual teachers.
