Ohio State Buckeyes face a massive shakeup as star quarterback Julian Sayin suffers a likely season-ending injury, casting a shadow over their national championship hopes. With Ryan Day refusing to confirm Sayin's absence for the year, all eyes turn to the brewing quarterback battle between Luke Fahey and the athletically gifted Tavien St. Clair. Who will step up to lead the Buckeyes through a critical stretch, and could this QB drama affect Sayin’s future in Columbus amidst the transfer portal and NIL era?
Matt Fontana and Justin Zwick break down the impact of Sayin’s injury, the strengths and uncertainties surrounding Fahey and St. Clair, and Ryan Day’s cryptic messaging. The hosts debate Ohio State’s postseason outlook, the evolving quarterback room, and the looming expansion of the College Football Playoff to 24 teams. Will the Buckeyes’ championship window stay open, or is more chaos on the horizon for this perennial Big Ten contender?
