Did Penn State wrestling just reveal something about its heavyweight lineup battle between Connor Mirasola and Cole Mirasola?
Connor Mirasola has been selected to represent the Nittany Lions against Wisconsin's Braxton Amos at the 2026 NWCA All-Star Classic in Rec Hall. With Cole previously holding Penn State's starting heavyweight spot, does Connor's selection signal a potential change?
Zach Seyko examines the Mirasola twins' competition, Connor's offensive upside, the challenges of transitioning to heavyweight, and what Cael Sanderson's comments suggest about the upcoming season.
Plus, Shayne Van Ness faces Caleb Henson in a major 149-pound showdown, Rocco Welsh gets another crack at Brock Mantanona, and Josh Barr meets Stephen Little at 197 pounds.
We also examine whether Virginia Tech could emerge as a serious contender in the NCAA team race.
Who should start at heavyweight for Penn State: Connor or Cole? Let us know below!
