Gyllenhaal plays Tate Gordon, a reclusive architect who moves to a small coastal town to complete his latest project. There, he meets an alluring young woman who draws him out of his isolation—and into a deadly mystery hanging over the town.
REMAIN brings together the emotional romance of best-selling author Nicholas Sparks and the suspenseful filmmaking of M. Night Shyamalan. The film also stars Ashley Walters, Julie Hagerty and Jay O. Sanders, with an original score by longtime Shyamalan collaborator James Newton Howard.
What do you think is really happening in this town? Is this primarily a love story, a supernatural mystery—or a classic Shyamalan misdirection? Let us know your theories in the comments!
