Zero Dark Nerdy sat down with the team behind Night Nurse — writer-director Georgia Bernstein and stars Cemre Paksoy, Bruce McKenzie, and Mimi Rogers — to talk about their new film, a quiet, character-driven drama about how far we'll go for the people we're supposed to care for.

Eleni (Paksoy) starts a new nursing job at a luxury retirement community and finds herself pulled into something she didn't expect — a string of scam calls targeting the residents that she can't quite explain and can't quite walk away from. At the same time, she's growing closer to Douglas (McKenzie), a patient she can't quite figure out. Closer than she probably should. It's a story where caring for someone ends and something else entirely begins...

It's Bernstein's debut as a director, and in this episode we get her perspective on what drew her to the film, alongside Paksoy, McKenzie, and Rogers sharing their own takes on bringing these characters to life.

Tune in for a conversation with the people behind a story that's as much about connection as it is about the things we don't say out loud.
