RU415: MARCO POSADAS – CONFESSIONS II: ON MADONNA, LGBTQI+ COMMUNITY & MAKING PSYCHOANALYSIS ACCESSIBLE

Rendering Unconscious welcomes Dr. Marco Posadas back to the podcast!

Rendering Unconscious episode 415.

On this episode, Marco and I explore a variety of topics ranging from the challenges and rewards of our profession to the impact of Madonna’s music and activism. We dish about her new album Confessions II. Marco shares personal anecdotes, including his early exposure to psychoanalysis and what Madonna’s music and support has meant to the LGBTQI+ community. We also discuss the significance of psychoanalysis and the importance of its accessibility, as well as unique aspects of Latin American psychoanalytic traditions.

Dr. Marco Posadas is a psychoanalyst with a clinical practice in Psychotherapy, Psychoanalysis, Clinical Supervision and Consultation in Toronto, Canada. He is co-editor of Working Psychoanalytically with Gender Diversity and Sexualities: Resistances to Differences published by Routledge (2025). https://link.amazon/B0az7AyzB
