In Isaiah 53:4–5, the prophet foretold of a Messiah who would bear the sins and suffering of humanity. Preaching from this passage, Prof April Westbrook explores the depth of brokenness in our world and the greater love of God that reaches into it. Jesus came not only to bear our suffering, but also to lift us out of our brokenness and restore us to wholeness. He then invites us to partner with Him in His redemptive work in the world. This is the love of God that sets His people free.
