Some of the biggest names in tech have started to increasingly sound the alarm about the rapid development of advanced AI warning about the possibility of humans losing control of increasingly powerful “frontier” AI systems. President Trump disagrees saying these alarmists are trying to conduct a 'hoax' on Americans and winning the AI race is essential to the future. This all happening amid growing safety and national-security concerns with ongoing debates over the construction of data centers.
