NIST’s Cyber AI Profile is designed to move agencies from abstract frameworks to real operational choices

Federal agencies often struggle to turn high‑level guidance on AI and cybersecurity into everyday decisions about procurement, deployment and risk. NIST’s new Cyber AI Profile is meant to help close that gap by showing how AI risk management can work in practice. We’ll talk about how it’s intended to be used and what not to do with it, with Kat Megas, the program manager for cybersecurity, privacy and AI at the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology.
