When the Army launched its data operations center in April, the goal was to create a centralized service that will reduce the burden on warfighters. Over the long term, A-DOC hopes to make it easier for warfighters to use artificial intelligence and machine learning tools by turning raw data into refined intelligence. For more on the service’s plans for the Army Data Operations Center, Federal News Network executive editor Jason Miller caught up with David Markowitz, the Army’s chief data and analytics officer at the recent AFCEA TechNet Cyber conference.
