Lieutenant General Mark Simerly is in his final weeks as the director of the Defense Logistics Agency. In the two-plus years as DLA’s leader, Simerly drove the agency to change how it delivers products and services to the Defense Department around the world. In an “exit” press briefing, Simerly tells executive editor Jason Miller and other reporters about how DLA is more agile today and how it has adapted to the changing logistics environment over the last few years.
