Drawing upon her professional experience with the Department of Defense, where she worked as a Master Trainer and Master Instructor involved in physical force readiness and specialized training programs, she brought a disciplined approach to investigating unexplained phenomena.During her years with MUFON, Kloetzke served as Deputy Director of Investigations and STAR Team Manager, helping develop investigative procedures and coordinate specialized teams assigned to significant UFO reports.She subsequently returned to a leadership role involving MUFON's Special Assignment Team, which handled sensitive and complex cases requiring experienced investigators and specialized attention.Her investigations have taken her beyond the United States, including reported UFO incidents in Mexico, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Central America.Through this work, Kloetzke has emphasized the importance of properly documenting witness testimony, preserving potential physical evidence, examining photographic and video material, and applying investigative standards designed to distinguish explainable events from genuinely unresolved cases.But her interests extend beyond field investigations.In November 2016, Kloetzke became a registered lobbyist advocating for the serious investigation of UFO phenomena, taking her concerns from the field directly into the political arena.Her objective was to encourage lawmakers to recognize that unidentified aerial phenomena deserve responsible examination, particularly when reports involve military personnel, aviation safety, restricted airspace or potentially unfamiliar technologies.Should UFO investigations remain primarily the responsibility of civilian researchers, or should governments establish transparent procedures for collecting, evaluating and releasing information about unexplained aerial encounters?Kloetzke has advocated greater access to government records, improved reporting procedures and increased protection for witnesses who might otherwise hesitate to describe unusual experiences because of professional embarrassment or fear of ridicule.The discussion explores the difficulties faced by UFO researchers attempting to obtain credible information, the controversy surrounding classified military records and the continuing debate over whether governments possess information that has not been made available to the public.Kloetzke is also the author of Admissible: The Field Investigators Manual, written with UFO historian Richard Dolan, and Are Aliens Really Real?, a children's book introducing younger readers to questions surrounding extraterrestrial life.Her work raises a fundamental issue at the heart of modern UFO research: What constitutes credible evidence, and how can investigators establish whether an unexplained observation represents something truly extraordinary?Although some UFO and UAP reports remain unresolved, an unidentified object is not automatically evidence of extraterrestrial technology. Investigations must consider aircraft, balloons, drones, atmospheric phenomena, sensor limitations and other possible explanations before drawing conclusions.
