Join Rob McConnell on The 'X' Zone Radio/TV Show as he welcomes Miriam Delicado, author, speaker, spiritual researcher and self-described extraterrestrial contactee whose extraordinary experiences have placed her among the more recognizable figures in the world of UFO research, alien encounters and spiritual awakening. For decades, Delicado has shared her account of alleged encounters with extraterrestrial beings she describes as Tall Blonds, humanlike intelligences whom she believes possess advanced knowledge of humanity, Earth's history and the future of our civilization. Her experiences form the foundation of her book, Blue Star: Fulfilling Prophecy, in which she describes encounters that she believes transformed her understanding of reality and revealed a profound connection between extraterrestrial intelligence, Indigenous spiritual traditions and humanity's collective future.According to Delicado, one of her most significant encounters occurred in 1988, while travelling along a highway in British Columbia, Canada. She reports experiencing an unusual event involving a bright light, an apparent interruption in her journey and an encounter with beings she later identified as extraterrestrials.Delicado maintains that these beings communicated important messages concerning the environment, human consciousness, spiritual responsibility and changes that she believes could affect life on Earth.Central to her account is the belief that humanity is approaching a critical period of transformation, one in which people must reconsider their relationship with the natural world, their treatment of one another and their responsibilities toward future generations. Her interpretations also draw connections between alleged extraterrestrial contact and Indigenous prophecies, including teachings associated with the Hopi people. Such interpretations should be distinguished from the diverse beliefs and traditions of Indigenous communities themselves.Throughout her public appearances, Delicado has discussed the possibility that advanced nonhuman intelligences have interacted with humanity throughout history. She suggests that certain ancient traditions, unusual experiences and spiritual teachings may contain clues about these alleged relationships. But her story raises questions that extend far beyond UFO sightings. Can an encounter with an unexplained phenomenon permanently change a person's understanding of reality? Why do some individuals report meeting humanlike extraterrestrial beings? Are experiences involving missing time, unusual lights and apparent telepathic communication evidence of alien contact—or might they have other explanations? The discussion also explores the challenges faced by individuals who publicly identify as alien contactees. Reports of extraordinary encounters can attract curiosity, criticism and controversy, particularly when the experiences cannot be independently verified.Although Delicado describes her encounters as genuine, there is no independently confirmed scientific evidence establishing that her experiences involved extraterrestrial beings. The existence of the Tall Blonds as she describes them remains an unverified claim.Nevertheless, the broader search for extraterrestrial life continues to inspire legitimate scientific research, while personal accounts of unusual experiences remain subjects of interest in psychology, folklore and UFO studies.
