Questions are mounting over how a large influx of migrants made it to Morocco's border unhindered.
An estimated 60 thousand people attempted to swim around the northern Africa border to the Spanish enclave Ceuta – all but five thousand have since left.
Spain's civil guard is continuing to look for bodies, so far at least 72 have been found.
Europe Correspondent Catherine Field told Mike Hosking they flooded the border from across the region.
She says question marks remain as to whether Moroccan authorities were somehow involved as a way to get back at Spain.
