Op examines the case of 21-year-old Dioneth Lopez, who traveled from California to Washington to meet Alejandro Aguilera Rojas, a man whose relationship with her had been kept hidden from his wife and family. Days later, Dioneth was found dead off a logging road in Olympic National Forest.
As her family searched for answers, Rojas offered conflicting explanations about where she had gone. But surveillance footage, cell-phone records, and his own changing account began narrowing the distance between the last person known to be with Dioneth and the place she was found.
How many versions of a story can survive once the evidence starts telling its own?
