A team of underwater oil-rig workers who are recruited by the U.S. Navy to help recover a sunken nuclear submarine. Deep beneath the ocean, they discover a mysterious and seemingly intelligent underwater life-form. As tensions rise between the crew and military team, they must work together to survive the crushing depths and prevent a catastrophic confrontation.
