Charlotte Hale is literally tearing herself apart as we start episode 3, whoever she is on the inside is fighting to come to terms with who she is on the outside. Delores comes to aid Hale in regaining control of herself and get her back into normal life as Charlotte. She may not be pretending well enough as Hale, and is almost discovered after returning home to find her son and husband who she is unaware of existing. After uncovering more about Hale she finds in the end that she is the mole, that she has been after and that Serac is behind much more than she thought.
Meanwhile Delores is busy getting inside the head of Caleb and convincing him of the evil ways of Insight in a bid to turn him to her side. She shares the intel she knows about the deep pain and secrets in his life and tells him about the mirror world that has been being built underneath societies nose for manny years.
