Good 4 U: Are They Good for You?

In this message we continue our series, Good 4 U, by seeing what the Word says about how to choose the relationships in your life. 💕

Are they good for you? Most importantly, where are they spending eternity? 2 Corinthians 6 tells us to not be unequally yoked. This means asking if you’re both going in the same direction at the same pace–eternally and missionally. We must also see how they overcome temptation. Are they fleeing from temptation, or leading you into it? Have they been open and honest, in biblical community, and able to clearly define the relationship? Lastly, we can check if they are developing character. Do they have a repentant heart, striving to become more Christ-like and exemplifying the fruits of the Spirit?

When you are deciding who to be in relationship with, remember: Are they GOOD for you?
