This is Derek Miller, Speaking on Business. Founded in 2020, Cheryl’s Bagels brings authentic East Coast bagels to Utah through its brick-and-mortar storefront in Bountiful. Every day, the team serves handcrafted bagels made fresh using traditional methods and time-honored recipes. Founder, Cheryl Mignone, joins us with more.
Cheryl Mignone:
I started making bagels because I couldn’t find the East Coast-style bagels I grew up with. What began as a personal mission turned into a business built on tradition, quality and connection.
At Cheryl’s every bagel is rolled, kettle-boiled and baked fresh each morning — never day-old. We make our sandwiches fresh to order, serve house-made cream cheeses, cater special events and focus on delivering a great experience with every visit. Our purpose goes beyond the food.
We strive to be a neighborhood gathering place where customers feel welcomed, recognized and appreciated. Whether it’s a busy commuter grabbing breakfast, a family enjoying a weekend tradition or friends meeting over coffee, we believe small businesses help create stronger communities.
Our goal is simple: share authentic East Coast bagels and create places where people connect, one bagel at a time. To learn more visit CherylsBagels.com.
Derek Miller:
Small businesses help make Utah’s communities stronger by creating local jobs, supporting families and bringing people together. Through a focus on quality, service and community, Cheryl’s Bagels continues to build meaningful connections and contribute to the places its customers call home.
