Metal Mayhem ROC: Tony Iommi's From the Dark-Becky Baldwin and Jorn Lande

Tony Iommi’s From the Dark comes into focus through two conversations with bassist Becky Baldwin and vocalist Jorn Lande. Metal Walt speaks with both musicians about joining the Black Sabbath guitarist’s solo project and helping shape the album’s sound.

Baldwin recalls the unexpected invitation, her first recording session, and building bass lines around Iommi’s riffs. Lande explains how a musical connection spanning more than twenty years led to writing and singing on the full album. Both share firsthand stories about creative freedom, collaboration, and working with Iommi and producer Mike Exeter.
