Picking this up after last time after taking 2 years to cover a book review. We take on Flemings 3rd book and arguably one of the best. Bond is sent to look into a millionaire businessman Hugo Drax who is suspected of cheating at cards. Working on a nuclear missile called The Moonraker, Drax's chief of security is shot. Bond is also then sent to investigate with fellow undercover agnate Gala Brant and uncovers a terrifying plot to distort London.
Join us as we talk the state of the current bond series, what part of the book lags if at all, how Drax is both repulsive and charming at the same time and why Fleming didn't explain bridge as well as baccarat.
