Dr. Mark Christian grew up in Egypt as the firstborn son of a respected physician and religious leader. He was leading prayers in mosques by age nine and later led prayers in Mecca. He studied hard to prove his faith was true, and the more he studied, the more questions he had. Asking them, he says, made him a threat to his own father.
