Episode 152 (Part 1): So You Want to Mod Your Dreamcast?

Our Sega Dreamcasts may be showing their age, but thankfully, there are more ways than ever in 2026 to breathe new life into the console and enhance your play experience. In this new episode of the DreamPod, Lewis, Harvey (Pizza Hotline) and returning guest Derek Pascarella have got together to cover as many Dreamcast mods as they can, from upgrades that help keep your console running reliably, to new ways to play your favourite games and homebrew. They also take a look at modern Dreamcast accessories, including wireless controller solutions and upgraded VMUs.

This ended up being an absolute mammoth of an episode so it's been split into two parts. Part 2 will release on the 31st of August 2026 and will cover new power supply units, video/upscaler solutions, other quality-of-life mods, and more.
