Jane Doe 4 was initially part of a 2014 federal lawsuit against the U.S. Department of Justice for its 2008 non-prosecution agreement with Epstein, but her addition was unsuccessful; she later dropped a separate 2019 civil case against Epstein's estate involving alleged abuse as a teenager in the 1980s.This is a story of victims versus the State, where the only one with something to lose is the one holding evidence against themselves.
