Why do we still struggle even when we sincerely want to change and trust God? In Romans 7–8, Paul reminds us that struggle is not evidence that grace has failed. When old patterns return, life overwhelms us, or we don’t even know how to pray, the Spirit meets us in our weakness. God doesn’t promise that we will never struggle. God promises that we will never struggle alone.
