THE LOI POD: Derry City saga rumbles on as Lynch departs, but what happens next for James McClean?

Stephen Doyle is once again joined by Vinny Perth and Gareth McGlynn to dive into all the latest LOI stories of the week during a busy period for both the league and European competition.

The lads dig into the breaking news of the day which is the departure of Derry City manager Tiernan Lynch. The Belfast man took over the club at the end of 2024 after leaving his post at Larne and has had a mixed season and a half with the Candystripes.

There is of course the matter of a few ties in Europe to talk about too, with Rovers setting themselves up for yet another visit to European Group Stage competition with a 3-1 win over Egnetia last night and just the small opponent of Ajax at the Johan Cruyff Arena for Shels.

Finally, Bohs face Danish giants Midtjylland in Tallaght Stadium tomorrow with less than a 3rd of the season to play too.
