Murphy details his career shift from studying classical, monumental architecture to founding Mass Design Group, a nonprofit focused on leveraging built environments to deliver public services. Murphy tracks his experiences designing a hilltop hospital ward in post-genocide Rwanda alongside healthcare pioneer Paul Farmer to mitigate airborne tuberculosis transmission.
