STABBED THROUGH THE HEART—THEN HE MET JESUS FACE-TO-FACE
Pastor Rod Parker was stabbed through the heart and lung, rushed to Parkland Hospital without a heartbeat, and pronounced clinically dead. As doctors fought to revive him, Rod says his spirit hovered above his body—and then he came face-to-face with Jesus Christ. Jesus told him: “Son, you’ve been running from Me.” Rod describes watching a supernatural slideshow of his life, confronting the darkness of his addiction, promiscuity, violence, and rebellion. He says Jesus then showed him the terrifying destination toward which his life was headed—but also offered him mercy, hope, and another chance: “If you’ll run to Me harder than you’ve been running from Me, I’ll let you live.”
