Nearly one year after a surfing accident broke his neck and left him paralyzed, Scott joins Jackie to share the incredible chain of events that saved his life and the long road from a powered wheelchair to walking, surfing, paddling, hiking, camping, and adventuring again. He reflects on the mindset that has carried him through recovery, his focus on effort and attitude, and what it means to embrace a life that looks different than the one he had before. Scott also shares the remarkable full-circle story of Judah, the young surfer who pulled him from the water and later became part of Scott and Kristin’s family.
