Dodgers had a rough road trip, getting swept by the Braves to lose the season tiebreaker to Atlanta, which could affect playoff seeding. And Shohei Ohtani’s return to pitching is on hold as he deals with knee and biceps issues.

Offense was the culprit in dropping four of six games in Atlanta and Detroit, scoring just 11 runs in the first 5 games of the trip, ending a disappointing August that saw the Dodgers go just 13-14 while averaging under four runs per game.

Plus, Tyler Glasnow was fantastic in his return from the injured list. Will Smith is back this week. Blake Treinen and Justin Wrobleski could soon follow. Roki Sasaki landed on the injured list with a blister. And rosters expand from 26 to 28 on September 1.
