Join us for Episode 4254 of Day1, as Rev. Susan Sparks, Senior Minister of Madison Avenue Baptist Church in New York City, brings her sermon "Riding Into the Storm" from St. Giles' Cathedral in Edinburgh, drawn from Psalm 46:1-11. On this nineteenth Sunday after Pentecost, Sparks turns a South Dakota motorcycle ride through a violent storm into a meditation on stillness, refuge, and courage, reminding us that God's presence, not the absence of storms, is the promise we are given.
