This sermon teaches that the Church must recognise its own spiritual decline, repent of its sins and cry out to God for revival.
God sometimes allows difficult circumstances as a form of discipline to bring His people back to Him. Rather than blaming society, government or external influences alone, Christians must examine their own hearts, acknowledge their responsibility and return to faithful obedience to God's Word.
