Media Matters with Dave Davis and David Lynch | Part 3
Dave Davis and Liverpool journalist David Lynch discuss a potentially significant development surrounding Alexis Mac Allister's future at Anfield.
Fresh reporting from Ismael Mahmoud suggests Liverpool are preparing a formal contract extension offer for the Argentine midfielder, despite previous indications that the club had no plans to renew his deal.
Lynch examines why Liverpool may be reconsidering their position, the influence of Andoni Iraola and Mac Allister's impressive recent performances.
Could a shorter contract extension provide the perfect solution, or would Liverpool be taking a significant risk by committing to a longer agreement?
The discussion also explores what a potential renewal could mean for Liverpool's January transfer plans, particularly with Trey Nyoni continuing to establish himself as a serious first-team option.
With Liverpool potentially changing their approach to one of their most important midfielders, what happens next for Mac Allister?
