LIVERPOOL'S JANUARY REBUILD! Transfers, Contracts & Squad Changes

Newsround with Dave Davis | Liverpool's Busy January? Camara, Frimpong & Major Transfer Decisions

Part 2.

Dave Davis returns with another edition of Newsround on Anfield Index, examining why Liverpool could face a crucial January transfer window as Julian Ward looks to reshape Andoni Iraola's squad.

With Liverpool continuing to struggle for consistency, Dave discusses the growing list of decisions facing the club, including Jeremy Frimpong's potential move to Saudi Arabia, Harvey Elliott's difficult loan spell at Valencia and possible departures for Federico Chiesa and Wataru Endo.

Could Liverpool also strengthen their midfield? Monaco's Lamine Camara remains a name of interest, with Dave assessing whether the Reds could make a move when the January window opens.

Contract situations are another major concern. Alisson Becker's future remains uncertain following Iraola's latest comments, while Liverpool must also secure the futures of exciting youngsters Rio Ngumoha and Trey Nyoni amid reported interest from Bayern Munich in Ngumoha.

Dave also examines the attacking problems facing Iraola, including questions over Alexander Isak and Florian Wirtz's pressing ability and whether Liverpool have sufficient squad depth to compete across multiple competitions.

With potential departures, contract negotiations and midfield reinforcements all on the agenda, can Julian Ward deliver the January business Liverpool need?
