Composer and playwright César Alvarez and actors Anthony Alfaro and Barbara Walsh discuss “The Potluck,” a new musical about the 1979 Greensboro Massacre, in which members of the KKK and the American Nazi party killed 5 labor organizers during a rally in North Carolina. The show grapples with that period in US history, as well as its legacy, and the grief that accompanies the act of relating those tragic events. “The Potluck,” produced by Soho Rep and Intar, is playing at the Peter Jay Sharp Theatre 416 W. 42nd St until August 2.
