We were promised flying cars in the future, and Elon Musk this week announced he is prepared to deliver!

Musk demonstrated in dramatic fashion his new flying Tesla Roadster this week. He's promised these vehicles will be available by 2028. We can imagine lawyers, legislators, and insurance adjusters already hard at work trying to figure out what to make of Americans piloting flying cars over American roadways.

In not completely unrelated news, China has installed drone docking and charging stations on top of traffic light poles. It doesn't take much imagination to see how those will be used by governments around the world to further implement an already intrusive technocratic surveillance regime.

Elections are coming up here in the United States in about three weeks with Senate races in three states—Michigan, Minnesota, and Texas—that will act as bellwethers on the direction of the country as a whole. Meanwhile, Israel votes in 10 days, and there is a very real possibility that the long tenure of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu may come to an end.

Meanwhile, scattered violence continues between Israelis and Palestinian Arabs in Samaria and Judea, the area the world calls the West Bank. A Washington Post reporter found herself in the middle of a rock-throwing incident. Not surprisingly, the video that was released made it appear that Israelis were to blame. However, more video has come to light showing that it was young Palestinian men who were the instigators.

Finally, we discuss a letter sent to EPA Administrator Lee Zeldin Thursday by the Senate Democratic Caucus demanding that he stop an investigation into traces of the abortion drug mifepristone in the drinking water of large cities. Frankly, we're surprised that Democrats don't seem to care about the effect of the abortion drug on wildlife, even if they don't care about how it affects humans.

Also: fatal shooting at a school in Oregon; Ebola in Africa spreads to Kenya; British PM Andy Burnham wants to eliminate ID for voting; Ukraine's President Zelenskyy back at UN begging for money; and US Capital Police to run simulated urban warfare drill on the site of the Capitol Sunday, October 18.
