Elspeth Beard has become a household name in the motorcycle world, but it hasn’t always been that way. Back in 1982 she headed off on her around the world motorcycle journey, returning home years later and resuming her life in England as an architect and then a mother. It wasn’t until 2017, when her book came out, that the world would come to know Elspeth for her motorcycle journey. We were fortunate to interview her in early 2017 before the book’s release, and then again in 2018 after she had become the legend we know of her today.
