How do we come to a tradition that teaches us to listen to the cosmos? In the first episode of The Mother and the Moon, Kristin Marshall and Dalia Gencher share the very different paths that led them to Jyotiṣa, their devotion to Mā, and their hope for a conversation that brings celestial wisdom close to everyday life.

Show Notes: Every beginning has its own stars.

For Kristin Marshall and Dalia Gencher, the road to Jyotiṣa looked nothing alike. In this first conversation, they return to those beginnings: the moments, questions and encounters that drew each of them towards the wisdom of the heavens.

They speak about the way Jyotiṣa lives beyond the birth chart - in the timing of things, the shape of a day, the patterns we carry and the life unfolding around us. And beneath it all is their shared devotion to Mā: the Divine Mother, known through the cosmos and encountered in the intimate details of being human.

This is an opening, and an invitation: to look up, to look inward, and to discover how much more closely our lives are woven into the great life of the cosmos.
