Apparently, being a Black man who supports Israel means I must be a slave to the Jews.

That is the accusation levelled against me by people who cannot seem to comprehend that a Black African might think for himself, examine history, and arrive at conclusions they disagree with.

But the accusation reveals something far more interesting about those making it.

In this episode, I examine the racism disguised as political criticism, the uncomfortable history of the Arab and Muslim slave trades, and the historical ignorance that allows such accusations to flourish.

Ultimately, this is about something bigger than Israel. It is about the refusal to grant Black people the intellectual independence to hold opinions that others find unacceptable.
