The Eugene of Savoy Statue in Budapest, Hungary, erected in 1900 and designed by József Róna, commemorates Prince Eugene of Savoy. Born in Paris in 1663, he was a military commander pivotal in liberating Central Europe from Ottoman rule, notably at the Battle of Zenta in 1697.
