Join me for a quiet afternoon in the reference corner of the bookshop, where I’ll be dusting shelves, straightening atlases and returning dictionaries and encyclopaedias to their proper places.
There is very little story today. Just settle into the chair beside the shelves and relax to the sounds of turning pages, shifting books, handwritten labels and the soft murmur of the shop around you.
