Basil Rathbone and Nigel Bruce play Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson in "The Headless Monk," a mystery involving a haunted chapel (originally aired on Mutual on April 15, 1946). Bob Bailey may need a ghost's assistance to solve a murder in "The Spirit World" from Let George Do It (originally aired on Mutual on May 10, 1948). And when someone is trying to haunt a widow out of her home, she calls Dick Powell in "The House of Mystery" from Richard Diamond, Private Detective (originally aired on NBC on December 10, 1949).
