What do you do when your circumstances tell you there is no future?

Israel was living in exile. Their circumstances looked permanent. Yet God spoke:
“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” — Jeremiah 29:11
Your present circumstances do not get the final word. Failure does not get the final word. Sin does not get the final word. Discouragement does not get the final word. God is still working.
