Before he realized what podcast he was on and called his agent, we had a lovely chat about his astounding career in show business, what it was like shooting such beloved 90’s comedies as The Waterboy and Half-Baked, filming Monster with Patty Jenkins, how he wound up the favorite DP of the Wayans Bros, his philosophy of embracing the chaos in art and life, and the surreal events that led him to hanging out with Marlon Brando on the set of Scary Movie 2.
