We sincerely hope that we haven't committed blasphemy in the eyes of those in the Church Of Pete. We love The Who! We love Pete, Roger, John and Keith and we really love Tommy. Doing our Classic Albums Worst To First treatment to the songs on Tommy seems crazy, but it was a really fun way for us to dig into the guts of a great album, and appreciate each song on its own merit. My mom, the great Elizabeth Eisen was super jazzed about this idea so we had to do it. The top half of the list is featured here in Part 2, with picks 12-1 - the best songs on Tommy, and some truly incredible songwriting and musical performances.
