Hello friends! Austin-based grunge/trip-hop artist e.lissa faden is my guest for episode 1611! Her debut EP, "Daisy Chain", produced by fellow rocker, Dossey, drops next Friday, October 23rd and she's celebrating with a release show that same night at Fortune Teller ATX. Go to elissafaden.com for show info, music, videos, and more. We have a great conversation about making "Daisy Chain" with producer Dossey and engineer JJ Palencio (Six Pence None The Richer, Plumb), our love of Aimee Mann, going to school for musical theater in Oklahoma, acting and auditioning, our love of 90's trip-hop, songwriting, our mutual friend Heath Allyn, playing in cover bands, bumming your parents out with your music, and much more. I had a great getting to know e.lissa. I'm sure you will too. Let's get down!
