Contributor(s): Professor Bridget Hutter | Citing the example of the health industry, which boasts a vast number of overlapping and sometimes contradictory regulatory bodies, Bridget Hutter, professor of risk regulation at LSE, argues that we need to go back to first principles to examine the real nature of risk and its possible effects on society.
